Over the last couple of weeks or so, I haven't made much progress when it comes to completing the third Stone Island Sea Story.  As near as I can tell, I have two or three chapters left before I bring it to an end.  I have it to where the finale is about to take place, but haven't done much with it as of late ( Read more... )

My progress on the third Stone Island Sea Story has slowed somewhat since November, back when I tried to parallel NaNoWriMo and wrote a good portion of the story.  I doubt if I've written as much in December, January, and no February as I did then.  But I am making progress and now am nearing the finish.  Hard to tell for sure, but I'm thinking one ( Read more... )

A week into November and I think I can say I truly am, "back on step."  I've been writing on a much more regular basis than I have for the past several years.  So far I've only missed writing on a single day.  That was last Saturday when I spent all day at a local high school's arts and craft fair.  But I did sell three books and also three photo ( Read more... )

After a few days of much needed rain, the skys cleared again yesterday.  Temperatures are milder and it is wonderful outside.  In fact, I noticed that the predicted high and low here in Spokane matched those for Fairbanks, Alaska, within one or two degrees for each mark.  Won't last long, however ( Read more... )

This weekend is not going exactly as I would have hoped.  Friday as I left for work, I discovered that my vehicle would not start.  As she was not working that day, I borrowed my wife's car.  Now I've known for some time that the primary (battery) wiring of my car has some faults, so Saturday I set about fixing the problem.  I took a quick look and ( Read more... )
